Since the day you’ve passed,
I’m not sure if I can last.
I hardly make it through the day,
Without thinking of where you now lay.
Someday, I’ll find my way back to you,
And together we will forever lay.
Lay in eternal peace,
Where people go when they die.
Somewhere up past the sky
Somewhere up so high;
Where souls collide,
Where I can let go of the grief inside.
But for now, I ponder what could’ve been
And wait, what seems an eternity.
Sighs of sadness, smiles of happiness,
These memories I hold are deep within.
Never will they part from my aching heart,
For my love will be always and forever.
It just gets harder now and then,
Find myself thinking back to when.
When you were here, here with me
And into your eyes I could see.
But I can’t see you anymore,
However; I believe we’ll meet again for sure.
Months, weeks, and days; hours, minutes, and seconds.
Time’s passing by, however; my heart’s stopped in time.
